About Me

From 1998 on, I studied Computer Science with a minor in Neuroscience in Freiburg and received my Diploma in 2005. After that I did a PhD in Computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics at the Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH in Offenbach/Main in collaboration with the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience in Freiburg.

Currently, I am working at the Computational and Systems Neuroscience group at the Research Center in Jülich as Software Technology Coordinator for the neural simulation tool NEST.

In my free time, I am working as a freelance web designer and IT consultant. See the Projects page for more information.
